Helping Companies Diversify Their Workforce

Our diversity navigators provide support and guidance to communities and businesses striving to develop sustainable relationships with neighbors, customers, investors, and employees. Our tools are diverse. Our techniques are inclusive. Our strategies build roads for authentic and honest dialogues in safe and open spaces with clear goals, outlines leading to action and accountabilities. Our guided conversations aim to strengthen inside strategies resembling cultural, equitable, and diverse explorations for teams, groups, and neighbors.

TAP’s History

Our “Take A Pause” concept began in 2008. The U.S. economy had collapsed. Companies were struggling to sustain customers and staff. Cyclical unemployment strained the budgets of businesses and households alike. Due to this experience, we saw the demand for a workforce of skilled, certified, and licensed labor in companies throughout the nation.

Our Approach

We believe that employers that fish for labor in familiar watering holes are limiting themselves from many possibilities. To address this, we help companies reevaluate their guidelines on sourcing and recruiting. We utilize fair-minded critical thinking methods to help groups build bridges and opportunities for economic prosperity to those experiencing educational, health, and economic disparities.
